St Botolph’s, in the centre of Shepshed, is a lively, happy parish with many church organisations.

Youth and Children’s work includes a group for pre-school children and Messy Church. There is a Mother’s Union branch, bell-ringing group, choir, and praise band. A number of house groups meet regularly for Bible study and fellowship.

St. Botolph’s is an active member of Churches Together in Shepshed and part of the Northern Lights mission partnership. St. Botolph’s Church is open every Tuesday and Saturday morning from 9:30-12:30 when tea and coffee are available. We love people to pop in for interest, chat or just a cuppa!

St James the Greater, Oaks-in-Charnwood, is in an idyllic rural setting, much in demand for Quiet Days and weddings.

There is a bell-ringing group, Mothers’ Union branch, a Senior Citizens club, dance groups and a Gardening Club. “Meeting Point” for prayer and Bible study is held weekly. There is a strong link with the nearby Cistercian Monastery at Mount St Bernard.
